HOUSE RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING FEBRUARY 10, 2026, AS "THE 3RD RHODE ISLAND REGIMENT/BLACK REGIMENT RECOGNITION DAY" TO COMMEMORATE THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF BLACK SOLDIERS DURING THE AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR
Provides that where the administration, use, or maintenance of epinephrine within schools and on buses is authorized, this use includes epinephrine delivery devices approved by the United States Food & Drug Administration and epinephrine nasal sprays.
Amends the current law on low-income housing to include moderate-income housing and eliminates the income percentages used to determine qualifications for low or moderate income housing.

SMILEY, RHODE ISLAND ATTORNEY GENERAL PETER NERONHA, COLONEL OSCAR PEREZ, CHIEF OF THE PROVIDENCE POLICE DEPARTMENT, PROVIDENCE FIRE CHIEF DEREK SILVA, AND THE HEROIC MEDICAL PERSONNEL, PARTICULARLY THOSE AT RHODE ISLAND HOSPITAL, WHO SAVED THE LIVES OF MANY OF THE SHOOTING VICTIMS AT BROWN UNIVERSITY
Requires the executive office of health and human services (EOHHS) to apply an automatic cost-of-living adjustment (“COLA”) to the Medicaid reimbursement rates paid for assisted living services provided pursuant to this chapter.
Provides that licensed assisted living community is not required to hold a residential unit for a Medicare-eligible resident absent from the facility for a period exceeding 10 days unless EOHHS provides payment to the facility to hold the bed.
