Acknowledges the right of parents to decide whether to vaccinate a child for COVID-19 and the role of the state in providing information to allow parents to make an informed decision.
Requests the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, the Department of Education, and local school governing authorities to support and implement effective, evidence-based, high-impact tutoring programs to combat COVID-19 learning loss.
Establishes a committee to study the feasibility and advisability of changing the timing, duration, and subject matter limitations of regular legislative sessions.
