Requires the commissioner of motor vehicles to adopt rules and regulations requiring the issuance and placement of special stickers identifying alternative fuel vehicles having a gross vehicle weight of ten thousand pounds or less; requires such stickers to be easily identifiable to first responders as alternative fuel vehicles; defines alternative fuel.
Relates to the availability of opioid reversal agents; requires the department of health to make available any formulation and dosage of opioid reversal agent approved by the federal food and drug administration.
Requires all public school districts, charter schools and non-public schools in the state that participate in the national school lunch program or school breakfast program as provided in the national child nutrition act to serve breakfast and lunch at no cost to the student.
Requires manufactured home park owners to provide a written justification for rent increases in excess of three percent of the current rent; provides that increases in costs to justify such rent increase for ordinary maintenance or repair to meet the warranty of habitability obligations must be shown to be necessary.
Establishes the "recovery ready workplace act" which provides for the certification of an employer to become a recovery ready workplace; defines terms; establishes the recovery-ready workplace program; provides criteria for employers to obtain certification as a recovery ready workplace; provides for employee involvement.
Provides that no provision of section eighty of the civil service law shall modify, replace or supersede any provision of a collective bargaining agreement that provides for greater rights than required by such section.
Enacts the "Supervising Upcoming Professionals for Practice in Official Roles in Therapy (SUPPORT) act"; provides that for licensure as a clinical social worker, an applicant may satisfy the experience requirements under supervision of a mental health practitioner who has been granted the privilege to diagnose and develop assessment-based treatment plans under article one hundred sixty-three of the education law.
Provides that a person is guilty of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree when such person commits the offense of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and causes the death or serious physical injury of another person.
Provides funding for abortion services and travel-related expenses not covered by the military for active duty members of the armed forces of the United States, or their spouses or dependents, who are New York state residents.
