Reduces disruptive labor disputes with municipal police and firefighter unions during the transition to a new collective bargaining agreement by extending the existing collective bargaining agreement until new agreement is reached by arbitration.
Provides any police report involving a railroad fatality and all communications between railroad employees not be made public. Additionally, it makes a violation of this section a misdemeanor.
Creates a tax credit for family caregivers in an amount up to $5,000 for eligible family members and $6,000 for veterans based on 50% of the amount of eligible expenditures spent on eligible family members commencing January 1, 2025 and thereafter.
Prohibits a landlord from inquiring about the immigration status of a tenant subject to any federal laws or regulations, but may request financial information.
Includes licensed school psychologists under the provisions of the general laws governing the regulations of psychologists and expands the licensing of school psychologists for independent practice.
Repeals the language that eff. 2025 fiscal year all cities/towns/fire districts would receive a reimbursement equal to the tangible property levy for the 12/31/22 assessment date less the tangible personal property levy for 12/31/25 assessment date.

JOINT RESOLUTION MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF $500,000 TO THE RHODE ISLAND COALITION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE (This resolution would authorize the appropriation of the sum of $500,000 to the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence.)
