Requires a business entity in violation of worker protection or environmental laws and regulations to surrender all previous state subsidies issued to such business entity.
Directs the department of health to report to the legislature on the feasibility of entering into partnerships to increase competition, lower prices, and address shortages in the market for generic prescription drugs, to reduce the cost of prescription drugs for public and private purchasers, taxpayers, and consumers, and to increase patient access to affordable drugs; makes related provisions.
Establishes a campaign to promote public awareness of the importance of good oral health, including but not limited to, the impact of oral disease, causes of oral disease and its prevention, oral health across the lifespan, the total body connection, the value of early detection and the availability of oral health services in the community.
Establishes the Take A Look medical and dental workforce employment tour pilot program which is a campaign to promote and market the health care workforce employment and career opportunities in the following economic development regions: central, north country, western, finger lakes, capital region, mohawk and southern tier.
Provides for adult changing tables to be placed within an enclosed restroom facility or other similar private facility that is for use by persons with disabilities who need help with diapering at commercial places of public amusement and state-owned buildings open to the public.
Requires health insurance for state officers and employees who receive health insurance benefits from the state to take effect immediately upon employment.
Permits municipalities to enforce licensure requirements of retail dispensaries by closing retail locations which sell cannabis without a license; allows seizure of the instrumentality of the unlawful sales, including real estate.
Relates to the criteria for determining tuition assistance program awards; provides for the elimination of the distinction between dependent students and independent students for the purpose of determining tuition assistance program award amounts and eligibility.
Relates to proceedings in family court; requires all transcripts of proceedings or hearings in family court shall be provided to the parties within five days of such proceeding or hearing; requires attorneys for children shall meet monthly with both parents or guardians and submit a report, including, but not limited to each meeting, the non-confidential, substantive portion of any meetings and any communications with the parties and the child or children; increases the compensation of assigned counsel from $158 to $200 and the total amount of reimbursement from $10,000 to $20,000; authorizes the right of a trial by jury for matters of fact in family court proceedings.
Provides that individuals may receive breast cancer screenings under an insurance plan when such individual has a second degree relative with a prior history of breast cancer.
