Rosa Parks Day Act

This resolution requests that the President provide (and directs the Department of the Treasury to provide) to the House of Representatives all communication related toaccess to or use of the Treasury payment system by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk, or any member of his team;access to or use of confidential tax returns or tax return information by DOGE, Elon Musk, or a member of his team; andany screenshots taken of the data or records in the Treasury payment system by DOGE, Elon Musk, or a member of his team.

Of inquiry requesting the President of the United States to furnish certain information to the House of Representatives relating to the operations of the Social Security Administration after January 20, 2025, including information on the Department of Government Efficiency's access to the Social Security Administration and to information in the possession of such Administration.

Of inquiry requesting the President and directing the Secretary of Health and Human Services to transmit, respectively, certain documents to the House of Representatives relating to the effect on taxpayer and child privacy of the seizure by the so-called "Department of Government Efficiency" of legally-protected identity and financial data stored in the National Directory of New Hires and the Federal Parent Locator Service.

This resolution expresses support for the designation of Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day. The resolution also calls for increasing awareness of (1) the earned income tax credit, which is refundable; (2) other refundable federal tax credits; and (3) free tax filing assistance.
