RELATING TO CRIMINAL OFFENSES -- WEAPONS

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 11-47-60.3 of the General Laws in Chapter 11-47 entitled "Weapons" 1
is hereby amended to read as follows: 2
11-47-60.3. Trigger lock required. 3
No licensed retail dealer shall deliver any pistol, rifle or shotgun to any purchaser without 4
providing a trigger lock or other safety device designed to prevent an unauthorized user from 5
operating the pistol firearm. 6
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. 7
