EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE P ASSING OF RAYMOND H. GOULET

WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of 1 
Raymond H. Goulet of East Providence, the beloved husband of Jeannette Goulet for 52 years; 2 
and 3 
WHEREAS, Mr. Goulet was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Hector and Yvonne 4 
Goulet. He was a graduate of Mount St. Charles Academy and Rhode Island College, and proudly 5 
served our nation with honor and distinction as a member of the United States Marine Corps; and 6 
WHEREAS, After completing his military service, Mr. Goulet had a long, successful and 7 
distinguished professional career as a financial analyst for A.T. Cross, FDIC, and Thermo 8 
Scientific. He was a tireless worker who strove daily to provide for his family and loved ones; 9 
and 10 
WHEREAS, Mr. Goulet was a beloved figure in the community who always had a kind 11 
smile on his face and was admired for his quick wit. He was an avid sports fan who especially 12 
enjoyed following his beloved New York Yankees, but his first priority in life was always his 13 
family and being the best husband, father, son, brother and grandfather possible; and 14 
WHEREAS, In addition to his wife, Jeannette, he leaves behind his daughter, Janet 15 
Ferrari and her husband, David, and his two grandchildren, Morgan Arlene and Luke Neal. He is 16 
also survived by his sister, Rita Gervais. He was the brother of the late Robert Goulet and 17 
brother-in-law of the late Neal Dye; now, therefore be it 18 
RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby expresses its deepest 19 
condolences on the passing of Raymond H. Goulet; and be it further 20

RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to 1 
transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mrs. Jeannette Goulet and Family. 2
