RELATING TO HUMAN SE RVICES -- MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 40-8 of the General Laws entitled "Medical Assistance" is hereby 1
amended by adding thereto the following section: 2
40-8-33. Medicaid reimbursement rate increase. 3
Medicaid reimbursement rates for ambulance and wheelchair van services shall be 4
increased to not less than ninety percent (90%) of Medicare rates for the same medical services. 5
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. 6
