RESOLVED, that the rules of the House of Representatives adopted by the House of 1
Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2023, entitled “House Resolution Adopting Rules of 2
the House of Representatives for the years 2023 and 2024”, be and the same is hereby amended 3
by adding the following new rule thereto: 4
Display of flags. 5
(49) Flags or banners of any size shall not be displayed on any member's desk within the 6
House chamber; provided however, this rule shall not apply to any flag or banner placed on or 7
behind the Speaker's rostrum. 8
