Page 1 of 1 H. 3007 Fiscal Impact Summary This concurrent resolution allows the General Assembly to apply to the Congress of the United States for the calling of a convention of the states with the purpose of proposing amendments to the United States Constitution related to federal spending and balancing the federal budget. The resolution also allows the General Assembly to provide further instructions to its delegates and to recall its delegates at any time for a breach of a duty or a violation of instructions. This concurrent resolution is not expected to have an expenditure impact on the Senate or the House of Representatives since we anticipate that any responsibilities can be managed within the normal course of business for both legislative bodies.
