Fiscal Impact Summary
This bill amends the powers and duties of the Greenville Airport Commission by increasing the
authorized total indebtedness of the Commission from $1 million to $20 million. Indebtedness is
payable solely from the revenue derived from the operation of any revenue-producing facility
under the Commission’s jurisdiction. The Commission may mortgage or pledge any assets in
connection with such indebtedness.

The Greenville Airport Commission indicates that this bill may increase expenses related to the
repayment of the principal debt incurred plus interest, the amount of which will depend upon the
terms of the financial agreement. However, the Commission anticipates that any increase in
expenditures will be managed with existing funds.
