Fiscal Impact Summary
This joint resolution proposes a referendum on a constitutional amendment to specify that the
Comptroller General will be appointed by the Governor, with advice and consent of the Senate.
This proposal must be submitted to the voters at the next general election.
This bill will have no expenditure impact as the State Election Commission can manage the
additional responsibilities due to this bill with existing staff and within existing appropriations.
