BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA: 3
Section 1. That a NEW SECTION be added to chapter 15-2A: 4
The limitations prescribed in this chapter apply to actions brought in the name of 5
the state or any other governmental entity, or for the benefit of the state or governmental 6
entity, in the same manner as to actions by private parties, unless otherwise specifically 7
prescribed by law. 8
