An Act to make an appropriation for the purchasing of equipment to support the 1
South Dakota Board of Technical Education. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA: 3
Section 1. There is appropriated $6,736,000 from the general fund, to the South Dakota 4
Board of Technical Education, for the purpose of purchasing equipment to support the 5
educational mission of the four technical colleges in this state. 6
Section 2. The executive director of the South Dakota Board of Technical Education shall 7
approve vouchers and the state auditor shall draw warrants to pay expenditures authorized 8
in this Act. 9
Section 3. Any amounts appropriated in this Act not lawfully expended or obligated shall 10
revert in accordance with the procedures prescribed in chapter 4-8. 11
Section 4. This Act is effective beginning June 30, 2025. 12
