An Act to prohibit the enforcement and implementation of directives from 1
intergovernmental organizations, and to provide a penalty therefor. 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA: 3
Section 1. That a NEW SECTION be added to chapter 1-1: 4
No intergovernmental organization, including the United Nations, World Economic 5
Forum, or World Health Organization, has jurisdiction or power within this state. 6
No elected or appointed official or employee of this state, or of any political 7
subdivision of this state, may enforce or implement a regulation, fee, tax, or mandate of 8
any kind from the United Nations, World Economic Forum, World Health Organization, or 9
other intergovernmental organization. 10
For the purposes of this section, "intergovernmental organization" means an 11
organization created by two or more nations to work together on common interests. 12
