BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA: 2
Section 1. That ยง 18-1-9 be AMENDED: 3
18-1-9. A notary public may charge and receive a fee not to exceed ten dollars for 4
each instrument notarized, except that no notary public may charge a fee for notarizing a 5
request for an absentee ballot. 6
