ENTITLED An Act to remove the maximum fee permitted to be charged by a notary.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That ยง 18-1-9 be AMENDED:
18-1-9. A notary public may charge and receive a fee for each instrument
notarized, except that no notary public may charge a fee for notarizing a request for an
