BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA: 3
Section 1. That ยง 40-18-1.1 be AMENDED: 4
40-18-1.1. The board is attached to the Department of Agriculture and Natural 5
Resources Office of School and Public Lands for reporting purposes. It shall retain all its 6
prescribed functions, including administrative functions. The board shall appoint a staff 7
director to serve at its pleasure. 8
