SUMMARY OF BILL: Requires the Department of Education to compile a report on the
number of students who completed the early high-school graduation program and submit the
report to the Education Committee of the Senate and the committee of the House of
Representatives having jurisdiction over kindergarten through grade 12 education by September 1
of each year.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumption:
• The Department of Education can annually compile the required report and submit it to
the specified legislative committees utilizing existing resources, without a significant
increase in state expenditures.
