FISCAL IMPACT: NOT SIGNIFICANT Assumptions: • Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 40-11-154, it is a Class A misdemeanor offense to knowingly violate a condition of release on bail. • Specifying that the venue for prosecution of such offense is the county in which the conduct constituting the violation of a condition of release occurred will not result in a change in the number of prosecutions for state or local government to experience any significant change in revenue or expenditures.
