SUMMARY OF BILL: Appropriates $25,000,000 in non-recurring funds to the legislature
for the planning and construction of a new parking garage with at least 400 parking spaces to be
attached to the north side of the Cordell Hull Building and used solely by legislative employees.

FY25-26 $25,000,000
Assumption:
• The appropriation of such funds for the planning and construction of a new parking garage
will increase state expenditures from the General Fund by $25,000,000 in FY25-26.
