SUMMARY OF BILL: Extends the termination date of the Local Government Planning
Advisory Committee to June 30, 2026. Under the Tennessee Governmental Entity Review Law, the
committee is scheduled to terminate on June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• This legislation continues an existing entity at its current funding level.
• According to the Department of Economic and Community Development, the committee’s
expenditures were $791 in FY22-23 and $991 in FY23-24.
