SUMMARY OF BILL: Extends the termination date of the Tennessee Board of Utility
Regulation to June 30, 2029. Under the Tennessee Governmental Entity Review Law, the board is
scheduled to terminate on June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• This legislation continues an existing entity at its current funding level.
• According to the Comptroller of the Treasury, the board had no expenditures in FY22-23
and had expenditures of $1,258 in FY23-24.
