SUMMARY OF BILL: Extends the termination date of the Tennessee Public Television
Council to June 30, 2030. Under the Tennessee Governmental Entity Review Law, the Council is
scheduled to terminate on June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• This legislation continues an existing entity at its current funding level.
• The Council’s expenditures were $335,435 in FY22-23 and $281,525 in FY23-24.
