SUMMARY OF BILL: Extends the termination date of the Tennessee Wine and Grape
Board to June 30, 2031. Under the Tennessee Governmental Entity Review Law, the board is
scheduled to terminate on June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• This legislation continues an existing entity at its current funding level.
• According to the Department of Agriculture, the board’s expenditures were $123,265 in
FY22-23 and $227,206 in FY23-24.
