SUMMARY OF BILL: Designates desk number 60 in the chamber of the House of
Representatives as the Legislative Desk of Representative John J. Deberry, Jr. Requires the Chief Clerk of
the House of Representatives, or the Chief Clerk's designee, to design and provide for the
installation of a commemorative plaque on the side of desk 60 to recognize the naming of the desk.

Assumption:
• Based on an invoice provided by Legislative Administration for a commemorative plaque,
there will be an estimated one-time increase in state expenditures of $1,025 in FY25-26 to
furnish and install the engraved plaque on the desk.
