SUMMARY OF BILL: Requires each lobbyist, as part of their registration process with the
Bureau of Ethics and Campaign Finance (BECF), to electronically file the identification of each bill
and legislative measure for which they are receiving compensation to oppose or support.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• The proposed legislation will not significantly impact the number of lobbyists who register
with the BECF.
• The BECF will be able to manage the additional documents within the registration process
by utilizing existing staff and resources, without a significant increase in state expenditures.
