SUMMARY OF BILL: Authorizes an assisted-care living facility to comply with any
requirement to post information in the facility by making such information available on an electronic
screen clearly visible to residents and the public, subject to the approval of the Board for Licensing
Health Care Facilities (Board).
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• The Board will be able to issue approvals pursuant to this provision by utilizing existing
staff and resources and without any increase in state expenditures.
• Any change in costs associated with posting information on an electronic screen will be
permissive and borne of private funds to the assisted-care living facility.
