SUMMARY OF BILL: Decreases, from five business days to three business days upon
receiving a request in writing, the length of time within which an ambulance service provider must
furnish a copy of the patient’s run record to a patient, their authorized representative, or a surveyor
employed by the Health Facilities Commission.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumption:
• Decreasing the length of time within which an ambulance service provider must provide a
copy of a patient’s run record will not result in any significant operational or fiscal impact to
state or local governments.
