SUMMARY OF BILL: Decreases, from seven to five, the number of days in advance of
quarterly payments to hospitals made pursuant to the Annual Coverage Assessment Act of 2024 that the
Division of TennCare (Division) must provide the Tennessee Hospital Association a schedule
showing the payments to each hospital.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• The proposed legislation will have no significant impact on the operations of the Division.
• Any fiscal impact is estimated to be not significant.
IMPACT TO COMMERCE:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumption:
• Any impact to commerce or jobs in Tennessee will not be significant.
