A RESOLUTION to commend Taylor Adkins for exemplary service
as a legislative intern.
WHEREAS, each legislative session, this body is pleased to recognize certain persons
who have committed themselves, through their adroit service, to the betterment of the legislative
process; and
WHEREAS, Taylor Adkins is one such individual, who has distinguished herself in her
role as a legislative intern for Representative Karen Camper; her work has resulted in
innumerable benefits for the legislators she assisted and the General Assembly as a whole; and
WHEREAS, a student at the University of Memphis, where she is highly regarded by her
peers, Ms. Adkins has achieved academic success while also serving in leadership positions in
her jobs outside of school and holding membership as vice president of the Student Social Work
Organization, serving as a member of Professional Assertive United Sisters of Excellence
(P.A.U.S.E.), and maintaining status on the Dean's List and membership in Phi Alpha honor
society, in addition to serving in a multitude of volunteer positions; and
WHEREAS, eager to familiarize herself with the characteristics and complexities of
Tennessee State government and to further her studies, Taylor Adkins brought her many
abilities and singular expertise to Capitol Hill for the 2025 session of the One Hundred
Fourteenth General Assembly; and
WHEREAS, throughout the 2025 legislative session, Ms. Adkins has been punctual,
professional, and a joy to have in the office; she is a bright-shining star and a great sign of hope
for future generations; and

WHEREAS, Taylor Adkins has performed her many duties with extraordinary insight and
rare decorum; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE
CONCURRING, that we hereby commend Taylor Adkins for outstanding service as a legislative
intern for Representative Karen Camper and extend to her our best wishes for every future
success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
without House or Senate designation.
