A RESOLUTION to recognize Caroline Vallejos on the occasion of
her retirement from children's ministry at Mosaic
Church.
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that this legislative body should honor those citizens who
have answered a divine call to the ministry and who have served with dedication, vigor, and
enthusiasm to perform God's work for their congregations and their communities; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Caroline Vallejos is one such estimable person, who will take her much-
deserved retirement from her role as elementary pastor of Mosaic Church in Clarksville; and
WHEREAS, for over thirty-five years, Ms. Vallejos has committed herself to the well-
being and spiritual development of the children entrusted to her, and her long tenure has
positively impacted innumerable lives in multiple generations of believers; and
WHEREAS, by her extraordinary example of compassionate care and spiritual maturity,
Ms. Vallejos has led several of her former students into roles of servant leadership and ministry
as well; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Vallejos is a living icon of God's work, whether through her consistent
virtue and empathy or her gift of human relation, and she, not burying her talents, has multiplied
the kingdom of God through her shepherding; and
WHEREAS, throughout her estimable and devout career as a minister, Ms. Caroline
Vallejos has evinced the utmost spirituality, ability, and integrity, winning the unbridled respect
and admiration of her congregation; and
WHEREAS, we are delighted to recognize this committed Christian leader for her
service to her community; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, that we honor a nd
commend Ms. Caroline Vallejos upon the occasion of her retirement as elementary pastor of

Mosaic Church in Clarksville and extend to her our heartfelt wishes for much continued success
and happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy.
