A RESOLUTION to honor the memory of Keither "Dale" Hood.
WHEREAS, we were greatly saddened to learn of the passing of Keither "Dale" Hood;
and
WHEREAS, Dale Hood was an exemplary public servant, consummate professional,
and proud veteran of the United States Army, who served our nation with honor and distinction
in Vietnam; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hood dedicated his life to the service of others, embodying the values of
courage, duty, and patriotism; and
WHEREAS, an exemplar of civic duty and the higher ideals of the American way, Mr.
Hood passed on his love for our country and the value of honesty, helping one's neighbor, and a
hard day's work to his children and grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hood's service to our country and his community has left an indelible
mark on the hearts of all who knew him; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting that we pause to honor the memory of Keither "Dale" Hood on his
birthday, April 2, 2025, and express our deepest gratitude for his service and sacrifice; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, that we honor the
life and service of Keither "Dale" Hood and remember the countless contributions of all
veterans.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family
and friends of Keither Dale Hood during this time of sorrow.
