SUMMARY OF BILL: Extends the termination date of the Industrial Development
Division, Building Finance Committee to June 30, 2031. Under the Tennessee Governmental Entity
Review Law, the committee is scheduled to terminate on June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• This legislation continues an existing entity at its current funding level.
• According to the Department of Economic and Community Development, the committee
had no expenditures in FY22-23 or FY23-24.
