SUMMARY OF BILL: Extends the termination date of the Information Systems Council to
June 30, 2031. Under the Tennessee Governmental Entity Review Law, the council is scheduled to
terminate on June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• This legislation continues an existing entity at its current funding level.
• According to the Department of Finance and Administration, the council’s expenditures
were approximately $857 in FY22-23 and $988 in FY23-24.
