SUMMARY OF BILL: Extends the termination date of the Tennessee Board of Judicial
Conduct to June 30, 2031. Under the Tennessee Governmental Entity Review Law, the board is
scheduled to terminate on June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• This legislation continues an existing entity at its current funding level.
• According to the Administrative Office of the Courts, the board’s expenditures were
$565,146 in FY22-23 and $628,656 in FY23-24.
