SUMMARY OF BILL: Extends the termination date of the Tennessee Technology
Development Corporation to June 30, 2031. Under the Tennessee Governmental Entity Review
Law, the corporation is scheduled to terminate on June 30, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• This legislation continues an existing entity at its current funding level.
• According to the Department of Economic and Community Development, the
corporation’s expenditures were $4,256,600 in FY22-23 and $7,013,100 in FY23-24.
