SUMMARY OF BILL: Requires the Coordinator of Elections to promulgate rules, in
accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act to regulate the spacing of campaign signage
by candidates seeking election to state and local offices.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumption:
• The Coordinator of Elections will be able to promulgate rules to regulate campaign signage
spacing by utilizing existing staff and resources; therefore, the proposed legislation will not
result in any increase in state expenditures.
