SUMMARY OF BILL: Extends the waiting period for deceased nominees to be inducted
into the Tennessee Agricultural Hall of Fame, from five years to six years after their death.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• The Tennessee Agricultural Hall of Fame is located at the Tennessee Agricultural Museum,
which is responsible for its administration and oversight.
• The proposed legislation modifies only the timing of eligibility, without impacting the
number of inductees or the museum’s workload; therefore, no increase in personnel or
administrative costs for the museum is anticipated.
• Any required rule changes can be implemented within existing processes at no additional
cost to the state.
