SUMMARY OF BILL: Requires the Tennessee Wine and Grape Board (Board) to
coordinate with wineries to create a statewide wine trail.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• According to the Tennessee Wines website, there is already a free Tennessee Wine Trail that
has approximately 40 participating wineries.
• It is assumed the Board will leverage existing efforts from wineries in the state, without
requiring additional resources or personnel from the Board. Therefore, the proposed
legislation is not expected to result in an impact to state expenditures.
