SUMMARY OF BILL:    Makes changes under the Tennessee Producer Licensing Act of 2022 (Act).  
Removes outdated language relative to licensing renewals for an insurance producer license. 
Changes, from March 1
st
 to March 15
th
 the date in which a business entity license expires biennially 
under the Act. 
 
 
FISCAL IMPACT: 
 
NOT SIGNIFICANT 
 
 Assumptions: 
 
• The Act and licensees are regulated under the Department of Commerce and Insurance. 
• The provisions of the legislation are not estimated to impact the total number of licensees 
under the Act or the amount of fee revenue collections; therefore, any impact is estimated 
to be not significant.  
 
 
IMPACT TO COMMERCE: 
 
NOT SIGNIFICANT 
 
 Assumption: 
 
• The proposed legislation will have no significant impact on jobs or commerce in Tennessee.
