SUMMARY OF BILL: Increase, from two years to three years, the length of time that a
county election commission must retain the permanent registration records of purged voters.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumption:
• County election commissions will be able to retain purged permanent registration records
for an additional year by utilizing existing personnel and resources and without any
significant operational changes.
