SUMMARY OF BILL: Requires the Department of Education (DOE) to list on its website,
by July 31, 2025, and by each subsequent July 31, each local education agency (LEA) designated as a
high-performing school district for the upcoming school year and how long the LEA will be
designated as such before having to meet the criteria for re-designation.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumption:
• The DOE will be to post the required information on the department’s website within
existing resources and during the normal course of business, without a significant increase
in state expenditures.
