SUMMARY OF BILL: Establishes that the Executive Director of the Board of a Water and
Wastewater Treatment Authority must annually prepare and submit the operating budget of the
Authority to the Board for approval at least 45 days prior to the beginning of the fiscal year, rather
than 60 days prior to the beginning of the fiscal year.
FISCAL IMPACT:
NOT SIGNIFICANT
Assumptions:
• This legislation will effectively provide the Executive Director of the Board of a Water and
Wastewater Treatment Authority an additional 15 days to submit the respective authority’s
operating budget for the subsequent fiscal year to the board.
• There will be no significant fiscal impact on state or local government.
