<BillNo> <Sponsor> SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 200 By Watson SJR0200 004098 - 1 - A RESOLUTION to recognize Partners for Christian Media, Inc., on the occasion of its thirtieth anniversary. WHEREAS, it is fitting that we pay tribute to those exemplary organizations that work with purpose and conviction to improve the quality of life in their respective communities; and WHEREAS, one such esteemed organization is Partners for Christian Media, Inc., a nonprofit ministry based in Chattanooga that celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year; and WHEREAS, the primary function of Partners for Christian Media, Inc., is to operate a Christian music format radio station that is simulcast over two frequencies, WBDX (102.7 FM, Chattanooga) and WJLJ (103.1 FM, Cleveland), and one translator (W20BG, Signal Mountain); and WHEREAS, known in the region as J103, the station has been broadcasting since March 4, 1995, and plays contemporary Christian music; it is also available worldwide via streaming at J103.com and on the organization's Android and iPhone apps; and WHEREAS, Partners for Christian Media, Inc., also engages in other related media ministries beyond the FM radio station, including Jfest, the largest Christian music festival in the Greater Tennessee Valley; ComeOnLetsGo, a video-based outreach ministry; and JRadio, a collection of online music stations of varying moods and genres; and WHEREAS, it is our privilege to commend this most worthy organization on this special occasion; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FO URTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we recognize Partners for Christian Media, Inc., on - 2 - 004098 the occasion of its thirtieth anniversary, extending our gratitude for the organization's good work and our best wishes for every continued success. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear without House or Senate designation.
