A RESOLUTION to celebrate the birth of Eleni McKinley Halkias.
WHEREAS, we take great pleasure in celebrating the births of our State's newest
citizens; and
WHEREAS, Eleni McKinley Halkias recently made her grand entrance into the world,
bringing great pride and joy to her family, including her mother, Hannah Halkias; and
WHEREAS, Hannah Halkias works for the General Assembly as a legislative assistant
for Senator Shane Reeves, serving with acumen and alacrity and earning the respect and
admiration of her colleagues; and
WHEREAS, the Halkiases are highly respected members of their community; they are
the very epitome of good neighbors, as they always endeavor to treat others as they would like
to be treated; and
WHEREAS, for nine months, they eagerly anticipated the birth of their precious baby girl
and worked assiduously to prepare for her entrance into the world; and
WHEREAS, this wonderful new arrival is certain to bring joy and excitement to the hearts
of family and friends alike; and
WHEREAS, we find it appropriate to join the proud new parents, friends, and relatives of
Eleni McKinley Halkias upon the celebration of such a joyous milestone in their lives; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF
REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we celebrate the arrival of Eleni McKinley Halkias

and wish Hannah Halkias and the Halkias family all the best in their adventures with their little
girl.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
without House or Senate designation.
