<BillNo> <Sponsor> SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 504 By Pody SJR0504 007848 - 1 - A RESOLUTION to honor and commend Sergeant Major Jonathan W. Clark, 2024–2025 Mt. Juliet High School Teacher of the Year. WHEREAS, it is fitting that we should specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the highest-quality education for Tennessee's students; and WHEREAS, Sergeant Major Jonathan W. Clark is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished himself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and WHEREAS, Sergeant Major Jonathan Clark has been named the 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year at Mt. Juliet High School, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive influence he has on so many young lives; and WHEREAS, an educator for six years, Sergeant Major Clark serves as the grades 9-12 Marine Corps JROTC instructor at Mt. Juliet High; he holds a degree in general studies; and WHEREAS, Sergeant Major Clark serves as an inspiration to his colleagues and students alike, and his friendship and counsel are highly valued by those who are fortunate to know him; and WHEREAS, Sergeant Major Clark truly epitomizes the dedicated teacher who is wholly committed to the highest ideals of public service and quality education for all, and he should be specially recognized; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, that we honor and congratulate Sergeant Major Jonathan W. Clark on being chosen as the 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year at Mt.
