A RESOLUTION to honor and congratulate Tarecous Stevens,
Tacarien Freeman, Kylon Terry, and Quaylan
Hampton of the Fayette-Ware Wildcats on being
named to the Class 3A, District 14 All-District
and All-Tournament teams.
WHEREAS, we are pleased to recognize and commend those successful high school
athletes who, through their magnificent exploits, bring honor to Tennessee and serve as
exceptional ambassadors of this State; and
WHEREAS, Tarecous Stevens, Tacarien Freeman, Kylon Terry, and Quaylan Hampton
of the Fayette-Ware High School boys' basketball team are such estimable individuals; each of
them is an athlete of extraordinary talent, skill, and dedication who has proven himself to be a
formidable competitor on the basketball court; and
WHEREAS, these four exceptional young men were recently named to the Class 3A,
District 14 All-District team in recognition of their excellence on the hardwood this past season
for the Fayette-Ware Wildcats; this quartet also turned in brilliant performances in the district
tourney and were named to the All-Tournament team; and
WHEREAS, Tarecous Stevens, Tacarien Freeman, Kylon Terry, and Quaylan Hampton
epitomize all that is good in today's student athletes, as each one of them has achieved a high
level of success in basketball while evincing great character both on and off the court; and
WHEREAS, their notable achievements are a source of great pride for their families,
their community, and their school, and it is appropriate that we recognize these accomplished
athletes; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTEENTH
GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, that we honor and congratulate

Tarecous Stevens, Tacarien Freeman, Kylon Terry, and Quaylan Hampton of the Fayette-Ware
Wildcats on being named to the Class 3A, District 14 All-District and All-Tournament teams and
wish them much success and happiness in their future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy.
