A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to requiring posting of certain information regarding
nursing homes and related institutions on the Department of Aging
and Disability Services website.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 242.042, Health and Safety Code, is
amended by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows:
(e) The department shall post detailed compliance
information regarding each institution licensed by the department,
including the information an institution is required to make
accessible by Subsection (c), on the department's website. The
department shall update the website once a month to provide the most
current compliance information regarding each institution.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
